Worldwide HD Radio™ Implementation Status
Initial stages of HD Radio testing and conversion began in the United States in 2003 but the benefits of HD Radio technology have resulted in significant interest from broadcasters worldwide. Brazil and The Philippines have begun regional operation, Indonesia and Thailand have limited operation, testing is in process in Australia, Canada, France Switzerland, Nigeria and Ukraine. Testing is also planned for Argentina, Austria, Bosnia, Chile, Czech Republic, Italy, New Zealand and Poland. Trials have also been completed in Mexico with further investigation planned.
